Hello and Happy Stir Up Sunday! It’s Carol Can you believe it is less than 6 weeks until Christmas? Eek, best get making the rest of my cards.
Today I will share a card I made using the beautiful Robin Stamps by one of my teamies, the amazingly talented Jaine Drake.
Here’s a wee step by step of how to do it;
1 Cut a piece of watercolour card to 14.5cm x 14.5cm and wet it using a paintbrush and some water.
2 Using Prussian Blue Brusho make your background on the damp piece of card, add some Black Brusho to the very top to make it more like the sky.
3 While your background is drying, stamp out two wee robins with Black Archival Ink, then watercolour them with Distress Inks, I used Festive Berries and Ground Espresso.
4 Fussy cut your wee birdies out once they are dry.
5 Stamp a branch onto your page with Archival and make some foliage using Evergreen Bough Distress Ink.
6 Sprinkle some Frantage over the piece of card and heat from behind, otherwise you will blow it all off the page(not that I tried that you understand!)
7 Stick your watercolour card onto your card blank.
7 Pop your robins onto the branch using 3d foam, I chopped one of their legs off so it looks like they are sitting down and there you have it.
Thanks for popping by today, I hope you like the card. Remember and pop by soon for one of my other teamies with great inspiration.
