Hello, Happy St Andrews Day, it’s Carol here today to share a card I made using my Cameo and 2 of Sarah’s Silhouette Files and the awesome printable glitter from the Charm Street Cuties CD!!

This is quite a long, photo heavy post as I wanted to do a “how to” with the Cameo so people could maybe learn some new techniques.

Step 1Sarah Hurley Believe
Select the file you would like to use, I chose the Believe Bauble

Step 2Sarah Hurley Believe resize
Resize it by making a box over the whole thing, click on Scale and type in the size you want it to be and tick the Lock Aspect box. I am using a 6×6″ card so opted to make the height 5.5″.

Step 3
Sarah Hurley Believe Trace
Here we are going to make a plain bauble to sit underneath to contrast the cut outs. Highlight the whole bauble then click on Trace, then Trace Outer Edge, this will make a duplicate of the edge of the bauble.

Step 4
Sarah Hurley Believe remove
Carefully click on the edge of the bauble and drag to the right and you will get a solid bauble shape. Pop some paper or card onto your Silhouette cutting mat and off you go.

Step 5
Sarah Hurley Printable Glitter
Print out some GLITTER PAPER!!!! How awesome is that??? I used glossy photo paper to make it even sparklier *swoon* I then chose to cut out the Stars Page Mat using this paper, it is divine.

Step 6
Sarah Hurley Believe card
Put it all together and you have a sparkly, pretty Christmas card.

Remember there is a 50% sale on over at the Silhouette Store so these pretties were only 33p each! What a bargain!

Thanks for popping by today, hope to see you again soon. Remember and pop by regularly for great inspiration from my talented teamies.

Carol xx
